Code of Ethics
Members of the Turkish Society of Wine Experts and Educators (TSWEE) embrace the following ethical principles and values:
• In fulfilling their tasks and responsibilities, TSWEE members strictly avoid any discrimination and judgment on the basis of religion, language, ethnic origin, thought, sexual identity and orientation, age, physical disabilities and other similar attributes.
• TSWEE members pursue the development of the Turkish wine sector by serving the aims and missions of the TSWEE, without expecting any material returns.
• TSWEE members act on the grounds of continuous development, participation, transparency, objectivity, honesty, credibility and accountability.
• TSWEE members inform consumers on the adverse health effects of high alcohol consumption.
• TSWEE members keep an equal distance to all producers and consumers and refrain from taking advantage of their titles when dealing with anyone.
• TSWEE members take necessary measures to avoid any conflict of interest that would interfere with displaying their expertise in an objective manner.
• TSWEE members do not use any titles that they have not earned through authentic certification.
